The Natixis Global Asset Management fifth-annual Global Survey of Individual Investors offers a look inside the expectations of 7,100 investors in 22 countries. The findings complement those of the 2015 Global Survey of Institutional Investors.

  • Both investors say it is challenging to find diversification among traditional asset classes and tend to be more open to alternative investments.
  • However, unlike institutional investors favoring active management, Individual Investors overestimate the benefits of passive investments.
